Cemetery Clean up

Starting February 1, 2024, the Los Banos Cemetery will be cleaning the cemetery and removing decorations from gravesites that are not in compliance with the cemetery decoration policy.

Gravesite with headstones must keep flowers and decorations in the flower cups or vases. No items are permitted to be placed on the gravesite or around the cement foundation.

Gravesites without a headstone are allowed one non-breakable container and 2 solar lights placed at the top of the gravesite. The non-breakable container should not exceed 24" in length or 12" in width.

Signs have been placed around the cemetery as notice to families that item will be removed and disposed of starting February 1st. We will not save any items that are removed.

This year the cemetery will be undergoing a lot of changes and development. It is important that we stick to the policies that are in place to keep the cemetery safe and neat for all to enjoy.

Copies of the decoration and marker policy can be picked up from the cemetery office.
